The Life Is In The Seed

“ … whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” Gal. 6:7

Now that we’re the children of God’s Kingdom, we need to operate by Kingdom principles (Colossian 1:13).  It is vital for us to renew our mind first ( Romans 12:1-2 ).  If we want to be successful we need to change the way we think.  And of the things we need to renew our mind is the kingdom principle of “sowing and reaping.”

Everything operates on a seed principle.  Your life now is the harvest (product) of what you sowed in the past.  We need to be “seed-minded” instead of need-minded – think in terms of the seed.  For example: Our words are seeds we sow that well reap a harvest (Proverbs 6:22; Proverbs 18:21; Mark 11:22-23).  So take note of the following concerning your seeds:

  1.  It is God’s will for your fruitfulness, prosperity and success (3 John 2).  Therefore begin to sow good seeds.
  2.  Learn the ways of Christ (John 15:5)
  3.  You determine the harvest you want.  Then you must sow accordingly.
  4.  Every seed produces after its kind (Genesis 1:11-12)
  5.  The seed must be sowed – it must be set in operation.
  6.  The harvest depends on how much you sow (2 Corinthians 9:6).
  7.  The harvest depends on where you sow (Mark 4:3-8).
  8.  The harvest is dependent on when you sow (Gal 6:9).
  9.   Don’t mix you seed (Deuteronomy 22:9).  You cannot mix faith with doubt.
  10.  Always sow in faith, expecting a harvest.
  11.  God always gives seeds to the sower (2 Corinthians 9:10).
  12.  It is impossible for God to lie: what He said, He will fulfill (Hebrews 6:18).

Remember, the life is in the seed.  We must sow the seed before we can get the harvest.  Let all of us begin to sow now!

LAUNCHING INTO 2012

As we enter into 2012, we challenge everyone of us to go ‘BEYOND LIMITS, FULFILLING DESTINY.’ Let us all bear in mind the following as we do so:

1.   No procrastination!  Remember, procrastination is assassination on the amazing future God has for you.  (James 1:22)

2.  Don’t allow your past to identify you; rather let Christ t be the One to identify you!
(1 Corinthians 6:9-11). You are not who you were…you are who you are in Christ
(2 Corinthians 5:17) and if you don’t let your past die, then it won’t let you live. So don’t be obsessed with what others think about you rather than what Christ thinks about you? (Colossians 3:2-3; Galatians 1:10)

3.    Do not be afraid. (Isaiah 41:10) Remember, anyone who ever accomplished anything significant for Christ had to take a significant step of faith (Hebrews 11:6)

BEYOND LIMITS, FULFILLING DESTINY

“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine…” (Ephesians 3:20)

In 2012 we will face new problems, new pressures, and new possibilities. New problems will require creativity. New pressures will require conviction. New possibilities will require courage.

We can breakthrough beyond limits, fulfilling destiny by developing a

Passionate Heartbeat * Covenantal Unity * Audacious Leadership.

1.    Passionate Heartbeat

People with a passionate heartbeat have a consuming passion for the LORD and compassion for the Lost. The passion for God comes through His WORD. Remember the ‘rhema’ of God comes through a continuous or uninterrupted habitual action of self-feeding upon the Word. Don’t procrastinate! Procrastication is the assasination of the amazing future God has for you.

2.    Covenantal Unity

We’re in covenantal relationships in an atmosphere of love, acceptance and forgiveness. Your past has no future. So, don’t allow your past to identify you rather let Christ identify you. If you don’t let your past die, it won’t let you live.

3.    Audacious Leadership

Let Revelation 4:1 – “Come up here…” – be the perspective we deal with our problems. When we get up where Jesus is, we’ll see what He sees. When we see what He sees, we’ll know what He knows. And we’ll be empowered to do whatever He calls us to do. Then we will be inspired to ask God for the impossible knowing that nothing is impossible to Him. ‘Come up here…’
